Abstract—MIMO systems have the potential of achieving high spectral efficiency, high data rate and robust on wireless link, with an acceptable implementation complexity in wireless systems. It is the kind of less complex smart antenna which is used in the field of communication. The design of low complexity, low energy, high performance and high throughput receivers is the key challenge in the design of any MIMO receiver. MIMO provides low latency during detection. Such detection is facilitated by many algorithms. But there is tradeoff between complexity, BER and power consumption still unaddressed. To prevail over such issues a novel strategy with 4×4, 64-QAM MIMO detector is proposed. The novel strategy called JESPEO is employed in order to improve the performance of MIMO systems. A searching method is used to visit or expand the intermediate nodes based on demand operation. New sorting method is developed to keep the track the best candidates at each search phase.
