Abstract— Automated wheel chairs are used worldwide by partially disabled persons because of they are in need with help from others to move from one place to another. Though they serve the differently able persons these kinds of automated wheel chairs present in market are expensive and not suitable for middle and poor societies. Even the automated wheel chairs available in markets are rigid in construction without foldable option which makes tedious in transportation In order to overcome these disadvantages, the foldable motorized wheel chair (E- Wheelchair) is implemented. It is basically a motorized wheelchair which is propelled by electric motor and those peoples can move themselves independently. It is controlled by a joystick which can be used to Accelerate as well as steer the wheelchair. Since it is lighter in weight and with foldable option the handling and shifting is easier it can be taken in car which occupies less space compared to conventional automated wheel chairs
