Abstract – A quantity of accidents connecting conveyor secure attributes convenience to conveyor region as hazard zone. The popular of accidents occur during protection actions with conveyors unmoving process and risk region exposed. There number of reasons for organization a protected function and it‟s the true article to do. correctly from the intend phase, employee introduction to hazards must be prohibited by dipping the incidence of under conveyor clean ups, conveyor protection , removing jams, etc., defensive measure must be implemented in order that work on or near conveyors can be performed safely. Safety is a much talked about throughout Mettur thermal power plant station I. In this project work all probable risks have been foreseen, analyzed and protective events recommended for implemented.
