Abstract – The project considers the weak signals which lead to worst connectivity. In order to provide last mile connectivity to the user, we introduce a novel product called network extender. It is a plug and play device which covers approximately 4000 square feet used both in home and office. Network extender is also called as a signal repeater, which boosts up the signal from low to high strength. It allows the carriers to finally deliver a stronger, more reliable cellular signal hence easing the frustrations of mobile subscribers all over the world. We can improve the performance of network extender by cancelling an echo which is one of the problems in the device. We use some digital processing techniques to cancel an echo. Echo cancellation is done by cross correlation, delay estimation and channel estimation of received and the echo signal.
