Abstract – Concrete is most widely used in the construction material in the world. Ordinary Portland Cement has been traditionally used as a binding material in the concrete. The manufacturing of OPC requires the burning of large quantities of fossil fuels and decomposition of limestone which results in significant emissions of carbon dioxide to the atmosphere. This CO2 emission is the main cause for global warming, which have become a major concern. In order to reduce this, Geopolymer technology was introduced. Geo polymer Concrete is extremely different from that of ordinary concrete. Instead of cement we are using fly ash and alkaline solutions.  Thus, by using GPC we can control the emission of CO2 which we get through the manufacture of cement
