Abstract – In this paper, our proposed Ant colony optimisation (ACO) algorithm uses different colonies of ants and assign these colony members as intelligent agents to examine the network and update the routing information for improving the overall network throughput over wireless mesh networks, the simulation results shows ample improvement in throughput and delay performance.
