Abstract – The project aims at developing a load flow model incorporating frequency as a state vector along with the complex voltage. The method described here incorporates the frequency and voltage dependent load as well as governor action in the generating unit into the load flow analysis. The system load varies whenever the frequency changes. This paper aims at how the system load varies with change in frequency in comparisons to the fixed load flow where frequency is held constant. Frequency deviation from the rated has also been calculated.
