Abstract – The population of a country is an important factor for the economic development of our country, so as the population increases construction activities and industrial development increases. But due to increase in population fewer lands are available for construction and some lands are filled with liquid waste and solid waste coming from municipal and industrial areas. Soil loses it’s geotechnical as well as chemical properties of soil because of the decay of organic polluted matter which is disposed on site. this results in increases in plasticity, liquid limit, cohesion of soil and decrease in dry density, an angle of internal friction of soil and shear strength parameter of soil. After studying all these factors we have to consider changes in properties of soil due to the disposal of waste before starting a new construction project on polluted soil.
